W307 Stone Bowl

This bowl was made from travertine carefully chosen and worked so that the rim border and the centre is in red. It is 26cm in diameter and has a rolled rim. The style dates it from the Early Dynastic  to the Old Kingdom, Dynasty 1-4. It was purchased by Purchased by Wellcome in 1922.
