Deir el-Medina
The Egypt Centre has several items from the site of Deir el-Medina, the village of the workmen who built the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. These include an offering table belonging to the disgraced foreman, Paneb and a fragment of a chapel wall painting. The village was occupied in the 18th and 19th Dynasties.
