For a fun family day out, why not drop in to the Egypt Centre and discover the wonders of ancient Egypt as part of British Science Week!

There will be special guided tours given by our young volunteers, and a variety of Arts n’ Crafts sessions being run throughout the day.

Dress up and have your family photo taken as ancient Egyptians, learn how to write your name in hieroglyphs, make your own papyrus bookmarks and learn about the science of mummification!

Family friendly event suitable for all ages

Drop in activities running 10am — 3pm, museum open 10am – 4pm

Activities each cost £1.00 or less

Access to the museum is FREE
