Hair rings

These four hair rings are made of bone and ivory. 

Such objects are sometimes considered as earrings. However, examples such as these have too narrow a cleft for this to slip onto the ear and are more clearly understood as either hair rings or token jewellery for the deceased, not intended for wearing.
