AB23 Model faience sistrum
Part of a model sistrum made in faience. This type of object dates from the late Dynastic to Ptolemaic Period. The head is that of the goddess Hathor. The handle and top piece are missing. Most faience sistra are too fragile for use and it seems they were left at shrines to the goddess.
