W794

W794

Beads from a female burial at Qau.  The beads are faience and the length of the string when doubled is 41cm.

It is difficult to identify this from the excavation report. The label attached to the object when it came to Swansea states that it is from the left arm. This perhaps fits the description in the excavation report of ‘1) small green glaze barrels and one green and black glaze drop’. However, there is no glazed black drop on W794.
