Late Period shabti with inscriptions. Owner is Ankhpefhery (the name means ‘May His Master Live’), probably from the Egypt Exploration Society excavations at el-Hiba. Broken and mended. Uninscribed back pillar. 114mm high. Tripartite wig, base pedestal, back column, seedbag over left shoulder. Seven rows of hieroglyphs, false beard. A similar example is in the National Museum of Ireland (1903.759); another in the Fitzwilliam (E.203.1903).
