Both of these model situlae have the same labels inside them suggesting they are from the same source. The labels read ‘661-0’ and it is assumed that this is a lot number, though we do not know from which sale. An old catalogue card in the museum associated the situlae with the number R 4237 and R 4238, but we do not know what these numbers mean. 

 

Here is EC624:

EC624 is 45 grams in weight, measures 68mm high, has a maximum diameter of 26.6mm and a rim thickeness of 2.7mm. The outer rim diameter is 22mm.

 

To the right is a sketch showing the scene as though flattened out: The top register shows the solar barquedrawn by two jackals. In front a four baboons, their hands raised in greeting. The middle register show the deceased with his hand raised in front of four deities. The first is Isis, behind her is Nepythys, then Horus and then Amun-Min. The bottom register takes the form of a lotus flower.

EC625

EC625 is 26 grams in weight, measures 58.9mm high, has a maximum diater of 21mm and a rim thickness of 2.4mm. The outer rim diameter is 16.9mm.

The figures are hard to make out but show Min and possibly Taweret. There is a lotus on the lower register.
