Join the curator of Wales’ only Egyptology Museum Dr Carolyn Graves-Brown

for a new lecture series beginning July 2016 

 

Tuesday 5th July: Introduction to coffins

Friday 15th July: An introduction to Amarna

Wednesday 20th July: Tattoos, jewellery and other body adornment

Thursday 28th July: Introduction to the afterlife

Wednesday 7th September – ‘The first high-tech ceramic’: Faience in ancient Egypt

Tuesday 13th September – Costume and textiles

Thursday 22nd September – Gifts for the gods

Friday 30th September – Music and Musicians

 

All lectures take place 3pm-4pm at The Egypt Centre

Cost: Active Volunteers* Free,     Non-Volunteers: £5 per person
