Apes and Monkeys
Monkeys and apes differ in that monkeys usually have a tail, are smaller brained than apes and usually go around on all fours. Apes are able to swing from branches. It is is, however, sometimes difficult to tell whether or not the Egyptians were depicting monkeys or apes, especially if we only have part of the artefact.
